Sometimes… okay most of the time, I get this overwhelming feeling of pride over my job. I really have it good over here. I snuggle babies for a living. Is this even real life?! I also get to meet really amazing people who bring these babies into the world. This job can sometimes be a little lonely working by myself, mostly from inside the quiet office of my home. Getting to know people, new and old, brings me something a little extra special.
Sometimes, I even get to photograph other photographers and their sweet little ones! It’s always an honor to be trusted by another photographer for your work and with their precious babies. This time, I had the great joy of photographing my favorite Pet Photographer and her family! Before this session I already knew I loved her heart because of the work she does with rescue pets. Ana gave me some ideas on how we could incorporate bold bright colors from Indian culture into the session and I’m so excited with how it all worked together. I rarely think of using gold and this was a great opportunity to try!
